Food plays an important part of the Four Marys and over the years many customers have enjoyed the superb cooking. The cosy restaurant which is situated to the rear of the premises seats around forty people in comfort thanks to the alluring flicker of the fire in the handsome open stone fireplace.
The Four Marys serves traditional Scottish dishes such as smoked haddock cullen skink Soup, haggis neeps and tatties, and even lambs liver and bacon, all of which are complemented by more contemporary dishes presented on the attractive menu or on the list of daily changing specials. As you might expect, all dishes are freshly prepared on the premises using local ingredients where possible and with such a great reputation for the cooking, customers are advised to book in advance to assure a table.
